PATIENCE ONHEMA IS A YOUNG FRANCO-CONGOLESE DESIGNER. HAVING COMPLETED AN ARTS DEGREE AND FOLLOWING A STINT AT THE ÉCOLE DUPERRÉ IN PARIS, SHE COMPLETED HER APPRENTICESHIP BY COLLABORATING FOR A TIME WITH RENOWNED PHOTOGRAPHERS AS A STYLIST FOR THE MAGAZINE INDUSTRY. LATER A FEW CHANCE MEETINGS AND THE DESIRE TO PURSUE A DIFFERENT ARTISTIC DIRECTION PUSHED HER INTO LAUNCHING HER OWN LABEL IN ORDER TO OFFER A UNIVERSE WHICH MORE CLOSELY REPRESENTED HER PERSONALITY.

THROUGH KITOKO MODE WITH A CAUSE, PATIENCE ONHEMA OFFERS A NEW TAKE ON ETHNIC STYLE PRESENTING A NEO-ETHNIC STYLE, AT ONCE FEMININE AND ELEGANT, OFFERING STRONG LINES AND SIMPLE CLEAN CUTS, USING MODERN AND ORIGINAL FABRICS.
